Do not use over 50% power (Extends laser life enormously) Be sure fume extractor is running. Safe Materials: Wood, Paper, Cardboard (move quick to avoid fire), Cloth, Leather, magnet sheet, etc. RDWorks software Setting on new install: Config > System > Configuration > Homing = Top Right WIP Steps: 0) Have safety glasses on. for you and anyone else in room. 1) Make sure water circulator is on 2) Load your material. If Acrylic stand it off the honeycomb a bit for much better finish 2) Load file using USB drive (exported in RDworks via [SaveToUFile]) Place usb drive in the upper port on right side of machine. Now you must copy the file from usb drive onto system memory and then select that file. Menu > File > Read U Disk > Select file > Save To Memory > Esc > The select file. 3) Set origin to top left, Press ORIGIN. Then can press Frame to confirm outer dimensions 4) Confirm laser focal height Some how.... . 5) Close lid 5) Press Start At top. be prepared to press stop/E-Stop if any problems. 6) Clean up any cut offs left in bed. 7) Remove USB drive and Delete project from laser memory if it was a one off 8) Power down the laser and chiller Troubleshooting: If getting ghosting/double lines when engraving - Open Lightburn -> device settings (wrench/tool icon towards middle top of screen) allows you to set line shift specifications.
